From: [Various vocal and instrumental music]
Incipt: "At setting day at rising morn"
The Catalogue of printed music in the British Library to 1980 (London: K. G. Saur, 1981) lists three settings of this incipit, one anonymous, the other by J[ames] Hook. The most probable concordance is the setting by Samuel Howard (dated [1740?]), for it alone is associated with the title, "The Faithfull Shepherdess".
