Scope and Content

Copy letter from [Anne] Lambert to [Charles] Wesley. Her failure to reply quickly to her brother's last letter can be attributed to fatigue.

Their mother a few days before her death, asked Anne not to leave her if she had strength enough to withstand the strain, and this she was able to do.

Susanna 'laboured under great tryals both of soul and body' for some days after Charles left her. Her last hours are described in detail.
