To Charles Wesley, re the death of Samuel Wesley junior. She was surprised that John did not inform her of his brother's death before leaving London, but then he is 'unacquanted with the manner of Godes dealing with me in extraordinary cases'.
She thanks Charles for his taking care of her secular affairs. With the death of her eldest son a major source of financial help has been removed, but it is perhaps a good thing to be more dependent on God's mercy.
Her health remains poor.
Charles should pass on her love to her daughter [Ursula Wesley] and to Philly.
