Scope and Content

From A. Cowper at Donnington Park, Leicestershire [the seat of Selina Hastings, Countess of Huntingdon], to Charles Wesley, expressing his great joy and gratitude at having Wesley as a friend for he has been the means through which God has saved from sin.

They were comforted by the sight of John Wesley and Cowper's sister, who has unfortunately since died.

In a postscript he asks that any letters that Charles sends him should be sent via Selina Hastings [Countess of Huntingdon]. Annotated by Charles Wesley - full of loving acknowledgements.
