Scope and Content

From C W [Mrs C Ward] to Mrs Lee's house at Woodford Bridge, Essex. She is feeling ill, and would like therefore to postpone her visit to see Sally.

Could Sally stay with her for a few days after leaving Mrs Lee?.

She does not care very much for evening visits to dispense charity, but supposes that it cannot be avoided.

Mrs Lee should be reminded to take some music - 'she looks graceful before a piana-forte'.

Reference is made to Mrs Lee not being a christian.
