Scope and Content

From Mary Degge to [Sarah Wesley]. She only has time to say a few words, and even as she writes she is drinking tea with Miss Rich. Sarah will receive this letter on the very day that [Charles Wesley] 'will have met us' [a probable reference to her marriage, which took place on January 1st 1756].

Mary wishes to be remembered to the Countess of Huntingdon and Mrs Grinfield.

30 Dec [1755]
