Scope and Content

From Margaret Johnston in Goshen, Ireland, to John Pritchard at the New Room in Bristol. She delayed answering Pritchard's last until after John Wesley's departure from Lisleen, Ulster, so that she could give an account of his visit. The day after Wesley left however, she received news that her daughter Peggy was seriously ill after giving birth. With her other daughter Jane she left immediately in a chaise, and arrived here early on the third day to find Peggy much better. Spiritual matters are discussed including a description of a particular manifestation of God's love.

[Andrew] McCutchan is about to leave for Longford.
