Scope and Content

From Norton Street near Regent's Park, London, to Revd John Barber at the Methodist Chapel House in Bristol, thanking him and the rest of the Conference for their gift of thirty guineas.

26 Sep 1815

On the reverse of the above is a letter from Sally Wesley, to Revd John Barber, expressing her own appreciation of the above gift. She feels considerable affection towards the Connexion, and is always pleased to receive visits from the preachers.

Her mother is now very old [89], but retains her mental powers. She is still able to go for walks in good weather, and has good enough eye-sight to still be able to read.
