From Sarah Crosby in Leeds, Yorkshire, to [Frances] Pawson in Birstall. Their friend [Miss Rhodes] was married on Thursday morning to [John] Marsden. After the ceremony the couple were joined for breakfast by Crosby, Mrs Rheese, Mrs Lucas and several other friends. They had 'as good a time as we cd expect; as some were unawakened'. It has been a very tiring time for the new Mrs Marsden. Reference is made to a disagreement between Marsden and [John] Pawson, which hopefully is now settled.
Miss R [Rhodes?] received [Frances] Pawson's letter and was at first rather displeased, but seems to think otherwise now.
Crosby was pleased to hear that Pawson's legs are better.
The observation of dear Renty[?], which Pawson mentioned 'is very excellent & worthy of practical observation both by you & me, & all that love our Lord. What you repeat of Mrs M [Mortimer?] also is right'.
