Scope and Content

From Anthony Vazeille to [Mary] Vazeille, near the French Boarding School, [Love Lane], Wandsworth, London. He had intended to call that morning, but must go instead to the Guildhall in response to a communication from Mr Taylor - it will hopefully be for the last time. He will try to call tomorrow instead. She should not save the hare(?) for him as it will spoil - Dennison sent it from Yorkshire.

Three Dutch mails arrived yesterday with another commission from Capel. He has also received some payment including gold from a Dutch warship, which should yield a good profit. He hopes that he will have no bad news to report when the Flanders mails arrive - there are six due.
