Transcript of a letter from Edgeware Road, London, to Miss Reece, mentioning the benefit that everybody had gained from their stay at Brighton in Sussex. During his visit Charles performed on the organs at both the Church and the Chapel. A gentleman with whom Charles was acquainted when performing at the Brighton Pavillion for King George IV, has just been appointed director of the Earl Darnley Room.
He recieved the gift of £30 given by the Methodist Conference, and it has certainly proved very useful.
He supposes that Miss Reece attends services at the Cathedral - he remembers playing the organ there when visiting Mr Lediard at Rochester in Kent.
Reference is made to the death of Mr Greatorex, and to a call made by Charles on Revd Marsden.
