Scope and Content

From London to Sarah Wesley in Charles Street, Bristol. She clearly misunderstood his last letter, as he enjoys much more sleep in London than in Bristol. He is hoping to spend the winter with his wife, which is why he is now spending so much time in London.

Until his health is improved, he cannot consider a journey to Norwich, Norfolk.

His regards should be given to the Vigors, 'Chryssey(?)' Smith, and Mrs Pollard.

Sarah's next letter will he trusts infirm him, that their son and daughter have got over this stage of teething pains.

Mr and Mrs Boult send their regards, and [John] Wesley's 'secretary' sends his best to Sarah and the children.

In a postscript he mentions that two pounds of tea will be arriving on Monday.
