The deforciants are given as Ann Griffiths, Mary Nerston, Owen Meyrick, esq and Thoams Holland, clerk, trustees of the charity Ann Wood after the testator's death had laid out the £400 on the security of a mortgage of lands, the interest being paid to the order of the trustees and applied by them according to the directions of the will, until 1720. At that time Mr. Robert Tryarne purchased the equity of redemption of the said lands and paid the £400 to Thomas Lloyd, deceased, who during his lifetime paid £20 to some scholars in one of the universities according to the direction of the trustees, as interest on the principle sum. There is therefore due to the present Lord Bishop of Bangor or Ann Griffith and Mary Newton, Owen Meyrick and Thomas Holland, the principle sum of £400 and £95.15.04. In interest since the death of Thomas Lloyd in 1740.
