Administrative / Biographical History
By 1850, 40% of Britain's iron output was being produced in South Wales. There were extensive coal, iron, and tin manufacturers. One of them was the Castle Iron and Steel Works of Messrs. Nettlefolds Ltd. of Rogerstone.
