Appointment by way of demise and lease (and counterpart) for 99 years from 25 Mar last, rent £2 8s 9d yearly, 25 March 1834; (i) Hannah Couch, with privity and consent of Thomas Couch of town of Swansea, sailmaker, (her husband), to (ii) William Jones, mariner: Piece of ground (being part of estate devised to Hannah Couch by will of her late father, David Edwards, gentleman) being in Edwards Terrace containing in front 19 feet 6 inches and extending backwards 56 feet and joined on east part thereof by house built by (William Williams) and on west part thereof by house built by ( ). Together with dwellinghouse lately erected thereon by (ii) and all other buildings now erected or at any time hereafter during continuance of this demise to be erected on piece of ground hereby appointed and demised or intended so to be; Recites will of David Edwards, 27 May 1830; Endorsed: memorandum of licence to assign, 21 Jan 1839.
