Appointment by way of demise and lease for 99 years, from 29 Sep last past, rent £1 7s 6d yearly, 31 Jan 1834; (i) Hannah Couch, with privity and consent of Thomas Couch of town of Swansea, sailmaker, (her husband), to (ii) David Clement of same place, blockmaker: Piece of ground (being part of estate so devised to Hannah Couch by will of her late father, David Edwards, gentleman) being in Edwards Terrace containing in front 16 feet 6 inches and extending eastwards 28 feet 6 inches and joined on west part thereof by house built by William Johns and on north part thereof by house built by John Middleton (since deceased). Together with dwellinghouse lately erected thereon by (ii) and all other buildings now erected or at any time hereafter during continuance of this demise to be erected on said piece of ground; Recites will of David Edwards, 27 May 1830; Endorsed: licence to assign, Hannah Couch to (ii) to assign to William Davies premises demised by within written indenture, 5 Jul 1837; Noted: "No 5"
