Photocopy of a 20th century book of recipes containing 60 recipes which relate to work in the house and on the farm. (31793)

A printed leaflet giving instructions in Welsh and English regarding the remedy of Owen Griffiths of Rhiw, Pwllheli for the condition known as epithelioma (y ddafad wyllt), 20th century. (32167)

A printed booklet entitled The Ladies Glance Guide for Mistress and Maid, full of household hints and recipes issued by the Lune Laundry Ltd, c. 1920-1940. (33820)

Photocopy of a recipe book dating from 1709-1711 containing recipes for food, drink and medicine, and also sample menus for formal meals. On the binding edge it reveals that the book belonged to an Elizabeth Salusbury in 1709 and the cover states it is part of the Llantisilio Hall Collection, 1711. (37861)

This collection of recipe books were received by the Archives Department and catalogued at various occasions. They come from a variety of sources and in most cases, their authorship is not known.
