From Abraham Watmough at Wellington to Mary Tooth in Madeley. The Methodists here are very keen that [Henry] Moore preach for them at Wellington. They would be grateful therefore if Tooth could ask him to favour them with a sermon. If the favour is granted, the date does not matter. Watmough knows of no-one else at this time whose visit would be likely to excite more interest than the editor of the published life of Mary Fletcher. Such a visit would be of real benefit to the Methodist cause in this neighbourhood. As Tooth is aware, opposition to the Methodists here is 'as great as it is respectable'
