Scope and Content

Wood's antiquarian manuscripts, including:

  • Papers relating to the University and city of Oxford
  • Heraldic and genealogical papers
  • Church notes, for various counties, including Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire

Acquisition Information

The manuscripts were bequeathed to the University in November 1695 and were housed in the Ashmolean Museum until their transference to the Bodleian in 1860.
