Finished artwork for pages 21 and 22 of 'The Woodcutter's Duck'. The double-page spread shows the Great Hetman and his troops drowning in the flood, watched by Bartek and his duck. Areas in the top-left and top-right corners of the board have been left blank for the text. A paper overlay, annotated in pen 'The Duck', has been taped over the board.
A label from the publisher, Hamish Hamilton, has been stuck to the reverse of the board, with a note identifying the title, creator, date and value of the artwork taped onto it.
