Item 1: 2 books relating to the Brighton and District Branch of the No-Conscription Fellowship, including manuscript register of members' appearances before Local Tribunals and proceedings before Appeal Tribunals, some with photocopies (1916). Item 2: Photocopied press cuttings relating to the Rossendale By-election, Feb. 1917, with two typescript letters from the Rossendale Free Press and Rawtenstall District Librarian (3 Jan. 1986, 10 Mar. 1986). Item 3: Offprints from the Scottish Journal of Science, Vol. 1, Part 3, with articles "The Common Market and Scotland" and "Conscientious Objection in Scotland in the First World War", both by W. H.
