Edith A Bremner to [Miss Strachey]

Scope and Content

Has been trying to convert a friend (Miss L. Mackie) to the Suffrage cause and asks for pamphlets to be sent to her, also, if possible, newspaper account of Mrs. Despard's arrest, which she would like herself 'as an interesting example of early twentieth century fiction'. It's keenly interested in Suffrage and would like to join Society but cannot yet afford subscription (she is one of the working women who would benefit greatly from the granting of suffrage).
