Heads of agreement, 25 Jul 1902; (i) Ernest Holtham Leeder, as agent and on behalf of David Trevillian Jenkin, esq of The Mirador, Hambrook, Bristol, with (ii) Graham Forrester, as agent for and on behalf of Garn Mill Anthracite Colliery Company Limited, whose registered office is to be at Gloucester Buildings, county borough of Swansea: (i) agrees to grant and (ii) to take lease and execute counterpart thereof of Red Vein and all overlaying veins of coal (if any) together with any argilaceous ironstone, blackband or fireclay immediately associated therewith underneath lands of about 65 acres more or less in parish of Bettws in county of Carmarthen. Term shall be 60 years from 29 September 1902. Certain rent in respect of royalties on coal shall be £65 a year. Royalties to be as follows:(a) 5d per statute ton on all coal (b) 4d per statute ton on all blackband, argilaceous ironstone and fireclay.
