Agreement (duplicate), for £38 10s, 25 Apr 1922; (i) Beatrice Jenkin of 31, Lansdowne Crescent, Cheltenham, county of Gloucester, widow and Ernest Holtham Leeder of 46, Waterloo Street, county borough of Swansea, surveyor, executors and trustees of will of late David Trevillian Jenkin, with (ii) The Swansea Rural District Council: (i) hereby dedicate to public, for purposes of public highway between Penclawdd and Gowerton, strip of land having area of 0.385 acres except and reserved unto (i) or persons entitled thereto, mines and minerals with full powers of winning, working and getting same. Also reserving to (i) right of connecting their lands on south side of piece of land hereby dedicated with London and North Western railway and in o doing to lay down tramway or railway on or over proposed new road and footpath provided at all times that rails of such tramway or railway shall not project above level of said roadway.
