Lease (counterpart), for 99 years, if (ii), David Isaac of parish of Llansamlet yeoman and Mary, wife of said David Isaac or any or either of these shall so long live, from feast day of Annunciation of Blessed Virgin Mary (25 Mar) last past, rent 12s yearly, 13 Jun 1798; (i) Edward Mathews of city of Bristol, gentleman, to (ii) Griffith Evan of parish of Llansamlet, yeoman: Undivided moiety or half part of close of land called Coed cae stubba in parish of Llansamlet, late in occupation of David Lloyd, containing by estimation 3 acres or thereabouts and liberty to and for (ii) to inclose piece of ground called Twyn wern, otherwise Twyne grobbwl, in parish of Llansamlet (except all veins and minerals in and under said demised premises); Mem(oran)dum at time of executing this deed it was declared to be intention of both parties that all trees should be reserved to lessor with liberty to fell and carry them away
