Lease (counterpart and copy), for lives of (ii), aged 60 years or thereabouts, William David, her son, aged 26 years or thereabouts, and Mary David, her daughter, aged 29 years or thereabouts, from 25 Mar next ensuing, rent £4 yearly and £4 yearly, on 25 December four fat pullets or 2s 6d to each of (i) in lieu of duties, 14 Jul 1797; (i) John Landeg of Brinwillach, esquire and Edward Mathews of city of Bristol, esquire, to (ii) Esther David of parish of Llangyfelach, widow: Messuage, tenement and lands called Baily Glaes within parish of Llangyfelach and now in tenure of (ii), her undertenants or assigns. (Except and always reserved out of this present demise unto (i), their heirs and assigns all timber trees and trees likely to become timber with their toppings and loppings and all wood and underwood, all veins and seams of coal and culm, all quarries of stone and slate and all and every other mine, mineral and royalty whatsoever now growing or being or which at any time hereafter shall or may grow or be had, opened or found in, upon or under said messuage, tenement and lands
