Administrative / Biographical History
Maggie van Koetsveld met Group Captain Leonard Cheshire in 1968. At the time she was an Occupational Therapist living near to Hydon Hill Cheshire Home and was encouraged by him to get involved with his work.
Maggie was a member of the Hydon Hill Management Committee for 12 years and Chairman of the same committee for 4. In 1988 she became a Trustee of the then Leonard Cheshire Foundation and a Vice President upon retirement.
For 10 years she ran the Creative Activities Contest which took place amongst all the Cheshire Homes across the world.
