Probate of will of Jean Frederick Jaquet of Walangin, Switzerland. Two-thirds of the first ten lines are missing. He bequeathes to his wife Mary Elizabeth Jaquet 'also' £700 absolutely, and £1500 for her life, and afterwards to be divided equally among his sisters Judith Jaquet, Jeanne Barbille Jaquet, Marie Esther Jaquet and Julie Jaquet, and his two other sisters Jeanne Marie Jaquet and Marianne Jaquet ('in easy circumstances') £5 each for a mourning ring, the residue to go to his wife and his executors. His wife is to be sole executrix. Witnesses: John Chalon and Samuel Richard.
