Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Parish councils were established by the Local Government Act 1894. The records contain mainly minute books, financial statements, correspondence, and rate lists. Community councils replaced parish councils under local government reorganization in 1974.
Arranged in chronological order and poor rate collection account, including a list of householders for 1961 written in the back.
