A copy of the original Minute Book of the National Land Bank, 1695-1696.

Administrative / Biographical History

The National Land Bank was founded by John Briscoe in 1695. The Bank went on to be known as the National Land Bank of England after a merger in 1696 with the Land Bank founded by John Asgill and Dr. Nicholas Barbon.
