Scope and Content

This series consists of c. 785 photographs, c. 68 negatives and transparencies, 2 plate glass negatives, and 20 slides of works by Cecil Collins.

It includes:

(folders 1-8) - photographs of Cecil Collins's altarpiece, 'The Icon of Devine Light', in the Chapel of St Clement in Chichester Cathedral, 1973; photographs of the concecration of Cecil Collins's side windows ('Angel Windows'), commissioned for All Saints Church, Basingstoke, Hampshire, Nov 1985; photographs of the concecration of Cecil Colllins's west window, 'The Mystery of the Holy Spirit', commissioned for All Saints Church, Basingstoke, Hampshire, May, 1988;

(folders 9-37) - photographs of various works by Cecil Collins spanning his entire career.

(folders 38-44) - negatives, transparencies and slides of works by Cecil Collins.

(folders 45-46) - plate glass negatives of 'The Double Portrait: The Artist and His Wife', 1939.
