This collection was found in a garden shed at "The Anchorage", 15 Ty Mawr Road, Deganwy. It relates to A R Temple's Estate Agency and Rent Collecting business, which also dealt with boat sales and rentals,as well as valuations of furnishings and effects. The collection also includes correspondence between ART and his Aunt in 1922 about his new car which she helped him to buy. This was an ABC 2-seater, Reg. No. FN 5413.

A R Temple's business was conducted from "The Willows", York Road, "The Anchorage" [where the records were discovered by a new owner some 60 years later], and Bank House, Station Road, Deganwy. In the Street directory of 1911 he was described as a Rate Collector.

Physical Characteristics and/or Technical Requirements
As a whole the collection had deteriorated due to the activities of damp and rodents; however, on removal from its original envelopes, it was largely found to be in moderate and legible condition.
