Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Roger St Pierrre was born in Dorset and grew up in Essex. At an early age he developed a passion for cycling and at 15 he was asked to write a regular column on cycling for the Romford Recorder. This blossomed into a career in journalism during which he wrote for a number of papers on cycling, popular music, travel, motoring and other subjects. He was a prolific writer and editor (also writing under the name Peter Kent) and worked as a promotion man in the music industry.
