Scope and Content

These research files, consisting of press cuttings, academic papers, and other research material, cover a range of issues. Some topics relate to personal interests, but others to organisations with which Lady Plowden had an official connection. These papers were however filed by Lady Plowden separately from her other files, organised by topic rather than organisation, and this order has been retained. For this reason there may be some crossover with research files which Lady Plowden kept within her general filing systems for particular organisations.
