Scope and Content

Papers of Sir Edmund Monson, mainly relating to his diplomatic service in Denmark, Greece, Austria-Hungary and France, 1884-1904, with papers relating to other diplomatic postings, and family correspondence, 1841-1908. The collection is arranged as follows:

Don. c. 154, d. 178-9, were given by John Wilson (Autographs) Ltd. through FOB, Sept. 1982; MSS. Eng. c. 5372-3 were given by John Wilson, 1993.
