Administrative / Biographical History

The Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Church at Skelmersdale was established in 1876 by Welsh immigrants to Lancashire. The first membership list for 10 June 1877 gives 40 names, all of whom apparently came from Rhosllannerchrugog, Denbighshire.
