This collection was deposited in two parts. The first, accession number 3170, was deposited via the Local Studies Library in November 1990. The second, accession number 3703, was deposited by Mr. P. Lund of the Society in October 1993.
The EFDSS was founded by Cecil J. Sharp after whom the Cecil Sharp House referred to in certain of the documents in this collection was named.
