File containing records relating to Euro-WILD [Euro-Women's Independent Label Distributors], a European women's music distribution network, whose members included Women's Revolutions Per Minute (WRPM) (UK), Face the Music (Denmark), Troubadisc (Germany), and individual distributors.

The file Includes: records of Euro-WILD meetings: minutes of the founding meeting of Euro-WILD in Copenhagen, Denmark 18-20 July 1980, containing discussion of language, US imperialism, communication, quality control, personal politics, finances, shipping, reporting, promotion, concert organisation, and the aims of Euro-WILD; a report written by Caroline Hutton (owner of WRPM) on the Euro-WILD Conference, Amsterdam, 1981, containing a summary of discussions regarding contracts, warehousing, promotion, tours; Euro-WILD working documents from the Amsterdam conference on distribution and evaluation standards; minutes of the Fourth meeting of Euro-WILD, 13-14 February 1982, containing country reports and discussion of publishing rights, tours, changes in Euro-WILD, overstock, and the Euro-WILD contract.

The folder also includes: correspondence of Caroline Hutton with Euro-WILD members, including Agnes (Troubadisc, Munich) and Caroline V. Bloom (Amsterdam) regarding meetings of the network and record exchange; also joint letters (August 1981, February 1982) from Euro-WILD members to US women's music record labels regarding 'fixed exchange rates' for stock purchases; and a report a visit by German distributor Troubadisc to the USA (1980).
