LETTER: M. Heuschen, mineral agents & freighters, 17 Rue Basse, Anvers to T. Fanning Evans, Mona Lodge, Amlwch in reply to his letter of 28 Feb. last when he gave the price of ochre at 60 francs per ton. He needs to know the price per ton in Anvers and how much T.F.E. between April and the end of November. He wants a guarantee that the merchandise doesn't contain more than 30% water. The Martha and the Jewel have finished unloading French.
i) LETTER: reply to the above that the freight is 9s per ton and it is impossible for T.F.E. to guarantee the dryness of the ochre as it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. He personally guarantees that it will be dry enough for commercial purposes. T.F.E. is looking for rooms to rent in Anvers with his wife and two daughters (6 March 1887) French.
ii) Translation of the letters from French to Welsh.
