Administrative / Biographical History

The Briton Ferry Boys at the Front Committee was formed in 1916 with the aim of showing support from local subscription to the men of Briton Ferry who were away fighting in the First World War. After the cessation of hostilities, the committee oversaw the construction of the town's war memorial in 1921.
