Especially fine Qu'ran with interlinear Persian translation throughout and Persian marginal notes, profusely gilded throughout. Marginal notes in red and black. Date stated to be early 19th century. Written in naskhi, Arabic and Persian.

Donated by family of Col. Keith Young CB in 1926 and said to have belonged to the King of Oudh and to have been looted after the capture of Lucknow in 1858. Catalogued by DM Dunlop.
