LETTER: A. Eugene Jones [member of staff Beaumaris Grammar School], 65 Idle Road, undercliffe Badfird to E. Madoc Jones asking him to contact the C. W. B. authorities regarding pupil Annie Jones' failure to pass the History exam. He saw her examination answers and the result was contrary to what he anticipated as her work had been good through the year, and, besides, this was her second attempt, and a pass in History would mean a great deal with a view to entering college. He challenges the examiner's decision and asks if it is possible for a re-consideration of her papers. He hopes the Madoc Jones family had a nice time in Harrogate.
