Scope and Content

LETTER: J. A. Owen, 3 Shaftesbury Rd., Hornsey Rise London to Mr. & Mrs. E. Madoc Jones. He thanks them for their gift of a pen, and is not likely to forget his stay at Beaumaris. He has experienced two air raids and a number of people were trampled to death in the rush for a shelter. John Bull's place was smashed. He has seen some of the sights of London and is still quite happy at the works. Asks if Mrs. Jones could forward his sugar card or something to show he was registered there. In a postscript asks for Geraint's address, and how Geraint is getting on.
