LETTER: T. W. Reese, Mission House, Haflong to Mr Jones in reply to his letter concerning Herbert's future. He and his wife will not stand in Herbert's way if he wishes to be called up, having taken an intelligent and serious interest in the issues which are at stake in the war. If Herbert does not enlist, his parents would like him to stay on at school whether he went into a bank or not. They appreciate the kindness shown towards Herbert by Mr and Mrs Madoc Jones and T. W.
