LETTER: John M. Richards, Darowen Rectory, Cemaes Road, Monts. to Mr Madoc Jones regarding John's future. He is tempted to let John remain at school. He would like to get some of his boys through college so that they could help a little with the others. The question of fees is his great difficulty. The living is nominally worth £200, but is quite inadequate. He would like John to sit for scholarship at Oxford like his brother David. In postscript he asks if John can go over to his grandfather at half term.
Attached: NOTE by Enid Madoc Jones that Johnny Richards was an old B. G. S. pupil and became vicar of Llanddulas.
