Letters: 'Mich' to 'St. C.'

Scope and Content

Comprises five letters from 'Mich' to 'St C'. The La Touche's governess, Miss Bunnett, was known as Bun which lead to the family adopting 'Crumpet' as a nickname for John Ruskin. His work with the homeless lead to 'Saint' being added to this. It is unclear who 'Mich' is. One letter is from Harristown, County Kildare whjich was the estate of the La Touche family.
