Letter from William Dun, Edinburgh to W. Mackenzie, London

Scope and Content

Pleased to hear that Mackenzie has passed his examinations “so honourably.” The bearer of the letter is Dun’s brother-in-law Mr James Campbell who goes to London to be assistant to a medical man there. If Mackenzie can be of any service to Campbell, Dun would be very grateful.

Is sorry that Mrs John Stenhouse is no better. The church of Dunbarton still remains unsettled. Dun does not think it will be offered to him.
