A copy of the Malaysian epic Hang Tuah dating from 1882 CE with the volumes in their original gilded leather bindings. The opening pages have illuminated arched frames filled with scrolls. Although the author of this story of loyalty to one's laeder is not known, it is thought to date from the 16th century being set in the Melaka Sultanate during the fifteenth-century reign of Sultan Mansur Syah.
