The full title of the manuscript is Nuovi Ritratti della Fameglia Reale, de Ministri di Stato, e de Principali personaggi della corte di Francia, con una esatta suppucazione delle Entrate e rendite della Corona. It is a MS fair copy of an account of the various characters of the French court, namely: the King of France, Madame de Maintenon, the Dukes of Orleans, Burgundy, Anjou, Berry, etc. There are in all 66 individual character sketches, some several pages in length. This ends on folio 63r. On folio 64r begins another text in the same hand: 'Ponderazione e Rifli'ssi sopra le rendite ed entrate e spese della Francia'. This second text includes many tables of trade statistics relating to the French economy.
