Berwick, Dunbar [E Lothian], Edinburgh, Linlithgow, Stirling, Rumbling Bridge [Perthshire], Kinross, Perth, Scone [Perthshire], Dunkeld [Perthshire], Killiecrankie [Perthshire], Glen Tilt [Perthshire], the Falls of Bruar [Perthshire], Aberfeldy [Perthshire], Kenmore [Perthshire], Killin [Perthshire], Callander [Perthshire], Lochearnhead [Perthshire], Dalmally [Argyllshire], Inverary, Ben Lomond [Stirlingshire], Tarbet [Dunbartonshire], Glasgow, Biggar [Lanarkshire], Selkirk, Kelso [Roxburghshire]. Although much of the material reflects the influence of the guide book there are observations on people, buildings and customs, of some originality and insight.
